Updating the Pottery Hut Part 1

  • I took the big step of deflating the kiddie pool from last summer. Very useful during heatwaves.

  • I swept away some cobwebs

  • And I found some cheap tile at Lowe's!

Tiling can't be THAT hard right?! So I got to work.

I used a $99 by hand tile cutter since a tile saw is really intimidating. Overall it went pretty well! The above photo shows the tile placed and cut. Then I had to mortar. By this point I'm pretty tired so it's slightly less neat, but it all fits!! All that's left is grouting!

I've looked up some YouTube videos for grouting. I should probably allocate 2-3 hours for that.
